FORCED CIRCULATION EVAPORATOR

A Forced Circulation Evaporator (FCE) is an industrial device used to concentrate solutions by removing water or other solvents through the process of evaporation. It is designed to handle viscous, scaling, or heat-sensitive liquids, ensuring efficient heat transfer and minimal fouling.

How It Works

1. Circulation Pump: A powerful pump forces the liquid through heat exchanger tubes at high velocity.
2. Heating: Heat is supplied to the liquid, raising its temperature but keeping it below the boiling point inside the heat exchanger.
3. Separation Chamber: The heated liquid enters a separator or flash chamber, where the pressure drop causes rapid boiling and evaporation.
4. Vapor Separation: The vapor is separated from the liquid, and the concentrated liquid is recirculated or removed.

APPLICATIONS

1. Chemical Industry: Concentration of acids, alkalis, and salts.
2. Pharmaceuticals: Processing of heat-sensitive drugs.
3. Food and Beverage: Concentration of sugar syrups, juices, and dairy products.
4. Wastewater Treatment: Reducing the volume of industrial effluents.
5. Desalination: Concentrating brine for salt recovery.
